Hubli, December 7, 2023: Dr. SF Kammar, Head of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) at Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), has been appointed as the new Director of the institute. He takes over from outgoing Director, Dr. Ramalingappa Antartani, whose tenure ended on December 7th.
Dr. Kammar is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in the field of PMR. He is expected to provide strong leadership and guidance to KIMS, focusing on improving patient care, enhancing research activities, and promoting academic excellence.

Dr Kammar completed his MBBS and MS in the KIMS and he is here in the institute from 1987.
